what gauge steel do I need to replace metal on my 240? will 16 gauge work? Try 0 gauge. I swear it'll work just fine! I think it's 18 gauge but I can't remember. Call an auto body . most floor pans will look like yours from the north, better off just welding something in after you cut the sheet metal to size. Maybe someone from the south will cut you some floor . Does anyone make metal wide body rear quarters for the S13 or S14? Or is there any wide body rear quarters that fit other cars that can possibly fit? I have searched and came .They cut 1/4" sheet metal to fit, cut out the rust, and welded the sheet metal patches in place for 250 bucks. I have no idea how anyone is telling you that's a 4500 dollar fix. Maybe wheel wells .
20ga sheet metal. Just mild steel will do. If you're not certain, go buy a micrometer and measure the gauge of the metal you're replacing. I guarantee you'll use it again.
