i know the thickness will have to be adjusted with washers etc for the areas where fasteners go. i was kinda thinking of building the lowrider 3 using a bunch of cnc plasma cut steel parts where possible but using your dimensions and plans. maybe its a bad idea, i can see certain reasons why it would be more difficult of course.It also wasn't designed with 'bootstrapping' in mind - the parts MUST be printed - they can't be CNC'd. A CNC based design would have leveraged the idea that once you get an initial build running you then use that V1 to machine the parts for V2 (out of baltic birch for example), and than use V2 to machine V3 parts out of AL.
